Essential cookie and vote protection

pad_voter

A signed anonymous identifier lets one browser cast at most one vote per event or crew poll. For the interest vote, the browser also creates a one-way technical fingerprint from the platform, language, time zone, screen and basic device capabilities. The server hashes it together with the network to limit repeat votes from private browsing. We do not store the original technical data or network address. The cookie contains no name or email, is not accessible to JavaScript and lasts up to 12 months.

Browser storage

LocalStorage remembers language, favourite events, venues and artists, your calendar, alert genres, map theme and optional analytics choice. Local choices can be cleared in browser settings.

Push alerts

Only after opt-in, the server stores an anonymous technical push address, selected genres, followed venue identifiers and language. It is used only for matching same-day events, at most once a day. Turning alerts off removes the subscription; no name or email is needed.

Aggregate analytics

Without an analytics cookie, the server counts aggregate visits, public page views, event detail opens and ticket clicks. To distinguish one visit per day, it uses only a short-lived one-way hash of the network address and browser type; it does not store the original address or a visitor profile. With consent, we also count filter and sharing usage. You can change your choice below.

External websites

When you open a map provider, official venue website or ticket seller, you move to another service with its own rules. Prague After Dark does not control cookies on those sites.
