Who controls the data

What we store

• An anonymous technical voting identifier in a signed essential cookie.
• For the interest vote, only a one-way hash of a technical device-and-network fingerprint; we do not store the original device properties or network address.
• Choices and aggregate results in a temporary crew poll, without a name or account.
• Favourite events, venues, artists and settings only in this browser.
• After opt-in, an anonymous technical push address, selected genres, followed venues and language.
• Aggregate visit, page-view and click counts; the daily hash used to distinguish a visit is retained for no more than two days. Filter and sharing usage is counted only after consent.
• Report text and an optional email when reporting an issue or requesting a correction.

Why we use data

To provide voting, save requested preferences, deliver alerts you explicitly enabled, correct event data, protect forms, understand basic service operation and — only with consent — improve filters and sharing.

Retention

The signed voting cookie lasts up to 12 months. Crew polls and their votes are deleted automatically after 14 days. A push subscription is removed when you opt out, when the push provider reports it expired, or after no more than 12 months without activity. Aggregate analytics are kept for up to 24 months. Reports and contact emails are kept until handled, for no longer than 24 months. Browser preferences can be removed by clearing site data.
